When we are hanging on by a thread, it’s a thread of His promises.  He’s got us, even when it doesn’t feel that way.  And on that we rest.  His presence will go with us, and He will give us rest.  (Exodus 33:14)

Abiding in that secret place when we first wake is so vital in beginning our day, and I call attention to the pillow ‘Gather’.  I also have a sign hanging on the porch that is metal and the night light shines on it, putting a shadow on the house ‘gather’.  I’m also hearing that word a lot in 2018.

The Lord tells us that if we are not with Him, we are against Him, and whoever does not gather with Him scatters.  (Matthew 12:30)
