Face your Tsunamis – A dream posted 8-4-20 –

Have you ever had a day or two that you had to eventually stand still and let it ride out? I had a day like that Sunday and Monday. You get up with a great attitude and looking forward to being a blessing and receiving a blessing and just feeling awesome, then you get a 1, 2 punch; while you are still reeling from that, another comes from the back, then another. You eventually realize this is not a typical day – or two.

These were big things, big things that required big choices. Pull your heart string kinda things. Tear you down and vacuum the wind out of your sails.

I asked God to speak to me about it, or to please speak to someone I trust about it. There aren’t many I trust and I know the ones He will speak to that I will learn from.

He spoke to me in the early morning hours of August 3rd, 2020, but I didn’t remember it until someone I trust shared something related later that day.

This is the dream I had that I believe the Lord spoke to me in:

I stood outside and suddenly I saw a huge wave coming at me. I could tell there were huge waves behind it. I was about to get pounded. I continued to stand and waited until it was almost upon me. Just before it hit, I dove into it.

To do something like that, God is teaching you something – and it is not by your power you are diving into a huge, tsunami-type wave. As I dove in, I felt myself sinking to the bottom. I looked up and saw the sun shining through the churning waters as they passed over. My thoughts were ‘this is not so bad, I am still breathing, I can actually rest right where I am’.

The first wave was gone and I had just a second with my head above water, then the next wave came over. I knew I’d be okay.

I realized these tsunamis people see in dreams and visions are not always for the nation or a city, they are sometimes coming for us as individuals. I also realized these waves are woes and troubles of this time we are in, and they are coming back-to-back before that particular time is done.

I was reminded of the times of trouble that I have asked the Lord, ‘Well, what do you think of this?’ I would find a bible and open it. I would be at Isaiah 43:2. That has happened more than once. KJV reads – When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Jesus is with us in the water, and He is with us in the fire. The water was over my head but it did not overtake me. I was protected in the water just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were protected in the fire.

Fear not little flock. We are not to fear. Our God knows our need and He is on the throne. Our Savior is our light. We do not do what we do by our might. Be encouraged, be encouraged. Face the waves coming at you and dive right in. Greater is He that is in us. God bless!

8-8-20 – More came from this within a few days. I told a cousin about this dream and she said it likened to the training she had in child birth. Contractions were presented in class as waves and they were taught to rest in them so that what was being birthed could come to fruition.

Then I was looking for a specific you tube when one popped up regarding women going through such a hard time right now because they are about to mother a movement. She spoke of something being birthed as mothers in families and mothers in ministries. This is causing satan a stir so he is coming hard at these women.

I had also felt a strong nudge to contact a prophetic friend and she asked me to pray about something she feels led to do to connect people in some way. It may be phone, it may be email, but it will be a connection to form prayer groups for prayer warriors and a way to lift each other up. We are in prayer about this, but these three confirmations are strongly telling me this is the reason for the extreme hardships recently, and when I asked the Lord to speak to me about it, it is the reason He showed me the huge, tsunami-type waves and me resting in them.

1 John 4:4 – NKJV – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
