Remembering God's Promises

Remembering God’s Promises #32 – 10-30-23

On November 6, 2020, I woke hearing an awful noise in the kitchen. I ran to see what it was. There was something cooking on the stove. I couldn’t find anything to unplug to stop it so I began pushing the big pot away from the heat. It was too much for me to do alone so before I could completely push it away I knew to run. I ran away from the stove and behind the door to the kitchen when I heard the explosion, then I heard ‘it’s like a pressure cooker’. Vision or dream I do not know.

That wall was Jesus. I ran and stood behind Jesus. He is our covering and our protection. Faith arise in this time! When the world seems like a pressure cooker, we have a hope and a glory of heaven. Repent and turn away. Make Jesus your Lord and Savior today. He is the only way, the truth and the life! God bless you!

God has answered my prayer before where I was so scared and then so relieved. I opened my bible as I do at times like that and was at the verse ‘ oh ye of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt’. Don’t stop standing firm even in the midst of trouble. You don’t need me or anyone else to give a word of encouragement, because when we do, it only comes from the bible. Open the bible and look for those words that lift up and give instructions and amazing promises.

If you feel your heart isn’t to the point you can do that but you want to, get before the Lord and let Him know. Ask Him into your heart and He will enter in. He will walk with you and sup with you and you will never be alone. When you are afraid you can ask ‘what is this? if this isn’t from you, will you take it away?’ He will. He has so many times for me and I am no different from you. There is light in the darkness and that darkness has nothing on our Lord. God is just putting us in a place where we can only look up. This way, no matter what is going on around us, we can have His peace and feel His glory. He has already won and prepared a place for us so that we can be with Him for all eternity. God bless you all. Don’t rely on people to give you strength or faith or anything else. They only have enough oil in their lamp. (Matthew 25)

Matthew 8:26 KJV – And he saith unto them, why are ye fearful. O ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Matthew 14:31 KJV – And immediately Jesus stretched forth His hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Matthew 6:30 KJV – Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Psalm 18:2 KJV – The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
