Remembering God's Promises

Remembering God’s Promises #14 – 8-28-23

Sometimes as I’m waking the adversary comes in and attempts to plant thoughts in my mind to ruin my day.  If I’m not fully awake and don’t have use of all my faculties, his scheme works for a bit.  It makes me think of those that don’t realize this and go on believing they are nothing and nobody.

As I was waking on January 8th, 2020, it was actually words from a voice that ran through my head that I’ve done it all wrong.  God is so fed up with me that he gave me over to the adversary and that’s who I will hear from now on.  I was trying so get awake and thinking, ‘Oh God, please still want me’.  It wasn’t long that a voice came in and it wasn’t a smooth voice.  It was a voice like one that comes thundering out of a waterfall and echoes far and near “GRACE”!

I was ashamed for a long time to tell anybody I heard that voice so I called it words/thoughts. But it was a voice. I had no trouble whatsoever getting awake and standing at attention when God’s voice came through.  My day began with a bounce and the song that says heaven came down and Glory filled my soul played in my head.  I’m so thankful for His loving GRACE!  The gift from above through Jesus Christ, and His tender mercies.  I’m thankful I don’t have to make this walk alone, and I don’t have to fear that I ever will.  He will never leave me nor forsake me.

When we call out to the Lord, He rescues us.  Don’t let any voice come into your head that says you are not enough.  Nothing will separate us from His love when we repent and turn to Him for a walk of His leading into righteousness for His namesake.  Psalm 23   Ephesians 2:4-9    Hebrews 4:16    1 Peter 5:10    Titus 2:11-12    2 Timothy 1:9    Romans 8:31-39
