Dreams of Encouragement

The Book of Remembrance – 5-26-23

Malachi 3:16-17 NKJV – Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”

I had a dream once that is on this site somewhere. In the dream, I stood before Jesus as he sat in a chair. I was putting things on a board like a flip chart and then I would show Him and, with anticipation, I would wait to see His reaction. The things were of my life. It was very peaceful and He was very kind and patient. I watched this scene in the dream as it went on. I was much younger and had the appearance of a teenager, wearing a dress and barefooted (which was typical of me).

Over the years I felt this was Him remembering my life and helping me remember. I don’t remember anything we shared being bad or condemning. All that was forgiven and forgotten. I ran across this verse one day and the dream came back to me. How precious is that. A book of remembrance written before Him for those who fear Him and meditate on His name. We are His, and on the day He makes us His jewels, we are spared. He says this is as a man would spare his own son who serves him.

It is so hard to believe sometimes that God loves our children more than we do. He can do more for them than we can. I pray you rest today knowing that, being in Him, you are spared – and so are your children.
