Remembering God's Promises

Remembering God’s Promises #44 – 12-25-23

This was posted 6-1-21 and being brought to the forefront to remember God’s promises at this time when our faith and our stand needs to be strong. May we not waiver in this time. God bless you in your walk with our Savior, as we praise God for His birth.

Sometimes I get words, verses, or a song during the night. Lately it is often, and they are words of encouragement and a guide for His bride. “Salvation is Free” I heard not long ago. There is so much deception out there to work for it and it is to turn us against Christ as we think following Him is too hard. Yes we ask forgiveness, but when He touches our heart, we turn from the ways of this world. He creates a pure heart and a steadfast spirit in us. We store up the joy of His salvation and we walk with a willing spirit for Him. As we walk, we teach others and sinners turn back to our Christ. He gives his angels charge over us.

A few days ago in the early morning hours I began to pray. The words from Matthew 11:28 were rolling across my mind and into my heart. “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”. What a comfort in every day.

And every night for awhile now I wake in the wee hours to hearing certain words to an old song. He is preparing us, encouraging us, and showing us the way as we walk closely with Him.

May the good Lord be with you down every road you roam, and may sunshine and happiness surround you when you’re far from home. Do unto others as you’d have done to you. Be courageous and be brave. May your guiding light be strong. And when you finally fly away I’ll be hoping that I served you well. (Words from Forever Young)

He is with us always, holding our right hand so that we have no fear. We trust in His power to provide and He has already shown us that He helps us. He has called many away to be apart where we find His rest. He transformed our minds from this world where we can know His good and perfect will. We rest in Him as we walk, even when we can’t see what He is doing, and we feel His peace as He guides us. He keeps our lamp burning and turns our darkness into light. Through Him a light will shine in us for those that sit in darkness. We will pray and He will answer our prayers. We are knit together in love and hidden in Him where He makes us strong. He will grant us the words with all boldness and signs and wonders will be done through our Lord, Jesus Christ. His words, His wisdom are pure, good fruit.

As we see and hear of things so terrible, we will look up for as they see destruction we will see the one true God’s power and might where nothing has anything on Him, oblivious to wars and earthquakes. He is in control and even satan cannot move without God’s approval. As we became rooted in the only one true God that bears witness of the truth and we hear His voice, we stand on that Foundation with the utmost thankful heart. Don’t listen to lies. Jesus is the only one that was ever qualified to throw a stone and He didn’t. They cannot separate us from His love.

Let not our hearts be troubled as some come against us. The Lord told me a long time ago – He needs warriors. Isn’t that amazing. The one true God that controls the universe needs us in this time. God bless you as you walk with the Holy Spirit and witness even now unto the ends of the earth.

Amen!
