Remembering God's Promises

Remembering God’s Promises #45 – 12-28-23

I see so much division. This is a spiritual war, and it’s not like we haven’t been warned. I had made a comment that blaming people in a spiritual war is like trying to get melting butter to sit still in a hot frying pan-it ain’t happening. We need to link arms at this time and be still and know.

I had a dream the week of 8-16-21 that I was in my old childhood church. A preacher in the front row hadn’t gotten up yet when I felt the Holy Spirit. That preacher’s hand raised up, his voice got loud, ‘There are people among you that are hearing from the Lord and you need to listen!’ I was praising God and even the bench I was on leaned in worship. It was like when the bible says, ‘If these don’t speak, even the rocks will cry out!’

It is good to weigh every word and take it all to the Lord in prayer. He does answer prayer. He’s not a deceiver and He doesn’t play games or hide from us.

Young people are on my mind. Sometimes we are trying so hard to protect our young family that we don’t want them to hear the hard things, and I get that. I’m the same way. But there is a way to tell them the hard things so they know to hide in the Rock and look up when something happens that is out of our control. It is good to make sure they know Who to go to and to lean on. They can know God’s promises and rest in that.

God bless you as you walk with the Lord today and trust in Him and Him alone.

Luke 19:40 – And he answered and said unto them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”

Psalm 46:10 – Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth

Luke 21:28 – And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
