The Good Shepherd Leads – 4-1-24

Someone sent me this on my phone so I made a screenshot. What a beautiful picture. Perfect for this post.

In praying Psalm 23 in the early morning hours of 3/31/24, I could see Jesus walking in front of us. He led us through the green pastures and along side the still waters. Our souls were restored. He then began to lead us through the path of righteousness for His name sake. As we got to the valley of the shadow of death, He took our hand and led us on down. There was a point He was no longer beside us. He wasn’t holding our hand. We stood there looking at the darkness and saw a light here and there, very sparse.

Then He was in us and our light grew so bright. We began to walk on, not alone, but with Him in us. He prepared tables before us in the presence of our enemies, He anointed our heads with oil. We continued to walk in the joy of the Lord as those in darkness began to follow because of their great need for His light. Praise His Holy Name.
