One of the pictures I took on the day the Lord said ‘I am Here’ when I was looking for a place to worship and went into the woods. The light was coming down in every picture I took. He is always with us.

I know we see nations against Israel, but she is never alone. There is an enemy to God and His people, but we are never alone. Sitting apart from the world with Him and we know He is with us. We pray He reveal Himself to His enemy and the enemy of His people.

Psalm 124 – ESV – If it had not been the Lord who was on our side – let Israel now say – if it had not been the Lord who was on our side when people rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their anger was kindled against us, then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us, then over us would have gone the raging waters. Blessed be the Lord, who has not given us as prey to their teeth! We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped! Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

His promises ring true. His word is alive. More than once the Lord has led me to Isaiah 43:2 – NKJV – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned. Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Some say we will still be here when trouble comes. There has been trouble, and we have been here. What I say is, there are still His feathers and under His wing we trust. (Psalm 91)

Stay strong and courageous, stand firm, God is using you, even if you don’t realize it. There is someone you smiled at and put a warmth in their heart where there was none. There are people in storms and when they see God’s peace in us, their stormy seas calm. Stay in prayer and stay vigilant. God is using you.
