Did Jesus not tell us, ‘don’t be afraid’? He told us in John 14 there are many mansions in His Father’s house, and He goes to prepare a place for us so that we can be with Him. Oh, how our hearts rejoice. We know Him and His way for He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through Him. Anything Jesus speaks is from the Father that dwells in Him.
He also tells us we will do greater works, and whatever we ask in His name, He will do – to glorify the Father’s name in the Son. We keep His commandments because we love Him. When He ascended into heaven, He did not leave us alone. We were sent the Helper, the Spirit of Truth, because we know Him – He dwells in us. The world cannot see this because the world does not know Him.
The world saw Him before he ascended, but we still see Him now. Because He lives, we live also. We know He is in His father, and us in Him, and He in us. He shows Himself to us. He dwells in us.
He who does not love Him, does not keep His words, and the words heard are not His. The Holy Spirit sent by the Father in Jesus name, teaches us all things and brings all this in remembrance. He left His peace and said again to not be troubled or afraid. He said again, He went away but is coming back.
He lets us know that this is something to rejoice over and hold dear to our hearts. He let us know ahead so that we will know to look for Him. He also said the ruler of the ‘world’ is coming, but has nothing in Him. He did all His Father commanded. Should we do no less.
God bless us all as we remember, ‘Arise, let us go from here’.
