Scripture my eyes land on often when I open the bible is scripture I know to carry with me and trust in my Lord’s words:

Jeremiah 39:17-18 kjv

But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the Lord: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in Me, saith the Lord.

This was the word of the Lord that came unto Jeremiah while he was in prison. As I open my bible to this scripture so often I am reminded that these words were written for us to see and hold onto, from Genesis 1 (In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth) through Revelation 22 (The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.)

Another scripture I open, it seems in time of distress, is Isaiah 43:2 kjv

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

We definitely do not live by bread alone. Matthew 4:4

The Lord is with us in every situation. His word and our faith tells us so.
