What’s to come? – 7-8-22

What’s to come is in the bible, so let’s start there. There will be wars and rumors of wars. Men will be lovers of self. Hatred will abound and darkness will descend. But God . . . Did you read that part? But God.

He has never warned me about anything that He didn’t give me comfort because He is our Father and is watching over us. He has shown me how His Light expels the darkness so why do we fear. Fear is a fleshly reaction. I pray we quiet ourselves today so that we stand before Him and feel His peace rain down over us.

The way I described it to someone before is this – ‘If you have a child, will you put them out there and say hey, anybody want to take a shot?’ No, you protect that child. You bring them in and under your arms and you stand in front of them and you fight the battle. There you go!

You’re okay. Being His child, you’re on the right side. Snuggle up closer under His wing. (Psalm 91) He is in control of everything and it is His justice we will see.

Nothing happens without His allowing it. He is our God, our Savior, our Redeemer, our Provider, our Healer, our Protector. Whom shall we fear.
