God’s Cocoon 4-8-22

Life can keep us busy. We try to do the right things and treat people fairly. We read a devotion and say a prayer in the morning.

When we look up and ask, ‘Lord, what would YOU have me do?’ He touches us and we wake up. He guides our steps and we hear His voice. He calls us into His cocoon (prayer closet) where a transformation begins.

He places on our heart the things to repent as He comforts. He shows us the way, guides our steps, there is work to be done. We find there’s not much we can do in and of ourselves, but through Christ, we can do all things.

He keeps us in that protective case as He molds us into what He would have us be for His use for His kingdom (which is what we ask for). What an amazing God we serve.

The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress, and my Deliverer, My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through the Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11

A man’s heart deviseth his way; but the Lord directeth his steps. Proverbs 16:9
