Dreams of Encouragement

The Lion of the Tribe of Judah 1-22-22

I had two people that I shared this dream with say they didn’t understand about the Lion. One of them cried and said it touched her heart so much that the Lion wanted to protect me. I felt bad that I didn’t think of explaining it so I’m doing this post over. It was such a precious dream to be reminded of it 7 years later to the day (1-22-22).

I dreamed I was in a huge field. I had to climb and there were lots of holes that I’d start to sink into and have to grab hold of something to pull myself out. I started seeing lots of animals and some of them were vicious. I couldn’t see them all, but I knew they were there and their noises were very scary. I was so afraid. When I found myself face-to-face with a lion that was resting on the ground, I knew I was toast. But I started feeling peace coming from this Lion. He was so beautiful. Around Him things were in slow motion and His fur blew in the wind in slow motion. He was golden in color and was very strong. Other animals growled and came at me, but the Lion stood from His resting place and came beside me. He started walking with me and the way wasn’t so hard anymore. I knew that as long as I had my hand on Him and held on tight, the other animals wouldn’t hurt me.

Interpretation of the dream –

This dream shows us how our way can sometimes be hard. We feel like we sink into the ground and have to hold onto something to pull ourselves out so we can keep going. We feel like some days are a climb up a hill. John 16:33 tells us that we can have peace in Jesus and that in the world we will have tribulation, but to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. Leaning on Jesus makes this journey so much easier as we can feel His peace. There were animals snarling and growling at me along the way in this dream, but I felt peace from the Lion. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us to be sober and vigilant because the devil is our adversary and he is like a ‘roaring’ lion that walks about seeking whom he may devour. This gives a picture of snarling and growling. The Lion that I felt peace from left His resting place to come stand beside me. He was stronger than anything else, and nothing came near Him. As He began to walk with me, I placed my hand on Him. The way then became easier and didn’t seem so hard. I wasn’t climbing up a hill and I wasn’t holding onto something to get out of the sinking ground. My feet were on solid foundation as in 1 Corinthians 3:10-11.

Revelation 5:5 gives us a picture where there is much weeping because no one is found able to open the scroll and read it. One of the Elders says to not weep but look. The Lion from Tribe Judah, the Root of David’s tree, has conquered. He can open the scroll. He is Jesus.

If you find your way very difficult, look up and call the name of Jesus. He makes the way so much easier as we cling to Him and feel His peace. God bless you!
