I’m away a lot right now. I have family that are sick and they live away from me. The Lord reminded me about 3 am last night of the dream on here about everything turning upside down, and gave me His peace that when we dwell in that secret place, He is our shelter. He is protecting us under His wing.  His peace that surpasses all understanding is covering us. 

Some are telling me that we are warned of a shortage and to buy the gifts we give now. I’m not stressing gift giving. When a birthday or Christmas or anytime comes that involves giving, we will gather and enjoy a meal in each other’s company and honor God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit ~ and give thanks. If I need to give a gift and the shelves are bare, I’ll give something near and dear to my heart that someone else can enjoy and be blessed.

I know we all see trying times lately and one evening I was dwelling on how tough it actually is. I clearly heard ‘he’s trying to take you down’. I immediately said ‘well Lord, he doesn’t do anything You don’t allow so I need to draw closer to You and have more of Your strength’. The Lord can say one word, or only a few, and it means so much. He is not the smooth talker of many words.

I’ve said many times how the Lord gave me this when I was in crisis. Isaiah 43:2 KJV – When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (He also told me He needs warriors. Remain in Him as He has us through all this. Trusting as we step out each day, no fear, into the calling He has for us.)

Rise warriors of God’s army! Remain in Him and rest in His peace under His wing. We don’t just gaze upon the horizon for His return. We work for the Kingdom, not because we have to, but because it is who we are. May He light a fire in us all. God bless you!
