Stay Humble – 9-10-21

I know some don’t understand when the Lord encourages us to pray for our enemies. It takes a very humble heart full of love to pray for an enemy. God’s ways are not our ways. He knows who will eventually turn to Him and be used by Him. We don’t. He has shown evidence of this throughout the bible as hearts were changed to do miraculous works in the name of the Lord.

There are hearts everywhere across this earth that do not yet know Him, but some day will. Those hearts will be humbled and turn to the God of mercy and salvation. Judge not and remain in His dwelling place.

I pray today that we remain humble before Him in constant prayer that His will be done in earth as in heaven, but not our will. We know not what the future holds, but He does. We only know in part as it is His will to show us.

Job 37:15-16 – Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of His cloud to shine? Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him which is perfect in knowledge?

John 13:34 – A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

James 4:6 – “But He giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

Colossians 3:12 – So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Hebrews 4:16 – Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

I am praying for all those in sickness and all those that have lost loved ones. I pray that God wraps these in His loving embrace to extend healing, comfort, and peace as is His will. I pray for an increase in faith and a heart earning to remain under His wing.
