So as you fight for and protect your family, so God fights for and protects His family. I pray today that we have the faith that walks on water without doubt or fear of sinking.
We are in a different time. That time calls for crazy faith. It calls for prayers in the name of Jesus Christ who shed His blood for the remission of our sins, died, and in three days, rose again, and stands even now at the right hand of the Father. He could have called down tens of thousands of angels, but when He said let this cup pass, He said but Thy will be done.
It is that faith we stand on today, faith that does not waiver. Today we touch the hem of His garment and be made whole so that we walk with Him in total trust to hear only His voice and His instructions. Those instructions may at times remind us that His ways are not our ways. His ways are for our good as He prepares the table before us that our enemies cannot see.
Lord, today we surround ourselves with your Word, the good fruit. We come together as your mighty warriors, trusting in You and You alone. I pray for a hedge of protection around each and everyone that looks up and not to the right or to the left. I pray for peace that surpasses all understanding and I pray for rest. I pray for rest in God. I pray today that He lead us in the paths of righteousness at this time for His namesake. Father, forgive us of our sins and bring to mind the sins we need to call out to you. Show us that which is meant to harm us so that we may turn away and look up. Today Lord, we stand firm, and we stand firm on you, our Solid Rock, our Foundation. As everything that can be shaken is shaken, we stand firm in total faith and trust in you. As we see this earth turn upside down, we will only see it with our eyes under Your shelter. The waters will not overtake us and we will not be burned in the fire. As we protect our family, so You protect us. We praise You Father for going before us. We praise you for speaking to our hearts to go here, to stay away from there. We ask that you speak through us Lord in whatever way we communicate Your words and Your will. We praise You for this race and the strength to endure. Amen!
