Encouragement

Christ Amazing – 4-14-21

An amazing plan that God would make the perfect Lamb. He died for our sins as scripture says. He was buried and raised on the third day, at which time He talked to Peter and others closest to Him, then later to hundreds at the same time. God’s Grace is so amazing. As Jesus was raised up so will others be because He didn’t walk this earth to give encouragement for a short while, but for all time and beyond.

Death came by a man and resurrection from death came by a Man. We died in Adam and came alive in Christ. Christ first, then those with Him at His coming. He will crush the opposition and the last enemy which is death. God’s power doesn’t stop at the cemetery gates. When we plant a seed, we don’t know exactly what the plant will look like. When we bury a body, we don’t know what it will look like when it is raised to live forever because it won’t be like it was buried.

The first Adam received life on earth and the Last Adam is a life-giving Spirit and made in heaven. We can now be heavenly; let us embrace our heavenly ends. We won’t all die, but we will be changed. The sound of that trumpet will cause a ‘blink of an eye’ event and done. Death swallowed by triumphant life! Who got the last word, oh, Death? Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now? Sin, guilt, and death will be gone, the gift of our Master.

This is reason to stand our ground with faith and no worry or fear. Nothing we do for the Lord is a waste of time and effort. The enemy tried to tell me one morning when I was trying to wake that this was not the case. He said I’d messed things up so bad that God gave me over to him, the adversary. God’s voice thundered like out of a waterfall and in one word He destroyed the adversaries smooth ‘many words’ to me when he said GRACE! With that one word came understanding as well. When God speaks it is minimal because we know exactly what He means. One word from Him speaks volumes to our soul. Don’t believe the lies and don’t worry. We are already triumphant in Him.
