The Lord is so faithful. He tells us to not be afraid and He will never leave us nor forsake us. That means in times of trouble, no matter how bad things may appear to be, He is with us. Sing for joy and take refuge in the name of Jesus. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Rest in His omnipotent power. We have troubles in this world, but there is a place we go for an eternity where we will never know trouble. In the shadow of His wings, until the disaster has passed, He will deliver us from our enemies.

Though we walk in the midst of trouble, He is our light. He saves us with His right hand.  Be encouraged. We are hard pressed but not crushed, struck down but not destroyed. God is our rock. Call His name and repent. He gives eternal life to never perish. Because of our Shepherd we lie down in green pastures as He refreshes our soul. There is no evil to fear, even in the darkest valley as He prepares a table for us before our enemies.

Be encouraged. Lift up your eyes to the mountains. Our help comes from the Lord.
