In November of 2016, I dreamed my brother, who mostly ministers in the streets and under bridges, spent the night with me at my mother’s house.  After I woke (in the dream) I went into her living room.  My brother soon walked in as well and said, “God told me in the night that we are one eye blink away from the Lord’s return.”  I asked, “Why would God put it that way?”

I woke as soon as I thought that and immediately the verse that speaks of Jesus returning in the twinkling of an eye came to mind.  A twinkling and a blink are pretty quick.  I found a version that uses blink of an eye, and there may be more.  The bible tells us the dead in Christ shall rise and we shall be changed.

I know all believers look forward to that day.  I try to always be prepared if He returns today or if he tarries so that no hope is ever lost.  I just know He’s coming.

1 Corinthians 15:52 NLT – It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown.  For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever.  And we who are living will also be transformed.
