Blessings Along Our Way – 2-22-21

Have you ever seen something blooming where everything around it appeared to be dead? It stands out when you walk by the crowd of thistles and thorns? I love what catches my eye, what makes my ears perk up, makes me think. It’s like a touch of spring in the winter snow. It makes you look up, then close your eyes and take a deep breath.

The Lord has blessed me with using nature and using people like that in my life. As I’ve walked along the narrow path, there has been people that stood along the side that helped me stay within the margins. Those angels on earth that God sends to us to help us along our way. They’re like a red bird in flight with a flock of sparrows. They stand out and your eyes open wide, ears perk up when you hear something they say or post. A lot of times it’s an answer to something you’ve been trying to figure out. (You know that tapestry the Lord weaves for us every day.)

It may be a friend, a pastor, or a grandmother (or all of the above) that God uses to help you stay in your margins of the narrow path.

I found myself especially thankful for these this morning. God is so good to take care of us in so many ways we don’t always comprehend. God bless you as you walk today within the margins of the narrow path through blessings that help along the way.

Isaiah 41:13 NIV – For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
