I was waking up this morning when I heard an awful noise in the kitchen. I ran to see what it was. There was something cooking on the stove. I couldn’t find anything to unplug to stop it so I began pushing the big pot away from the heat. It was too much for me to do alone so before I could completely push it away I knew to run. I ran away from the stove and behind the door to the kitchen when I heard the explosion, then I heard ‘it’s like a pressure cooker’. Vision or dream I do not know.

That’s where we are. Sometimes God puts people in a situation where they can only look up. Look up and be thankful. Don’t grumble in a desert for years. Be grateful for such a powerful God that never stopped loving His creation. He never stopped and never will stop being with us. He gave His only Son. (John 3:16) This is a Son that would not speak unless the Father spoke. We have a Holy Spirit that speaks what the Father speaks. John 12:49

I was walking to the bus stop yesterday and as I looked at the sky I had the best feeling. The sun was shining, the sky was a most beautiful blue, and the love in my heart for the Lord just overflowed. A thought ran through my head that, at this point, it is not our matter as to which one is president in this country. It is now out of our hands and we need to look up to the One on the throne. The warfare is extremely intense.

God has answered my prayer before where I was so scared and then so relieved. I opened my bible as I do at times like that and was at the verse ‘ oh ye of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt’. Don’t stop standing firm even in the midst of trouble. You don’t need me or anyone else to give a word of encouragement, because when we do, it only comes from the bible. Open the bible and look for those words that lift up and give instructions.

If you feel your heart isn’t to the point you can do that but you want to, get before the Lord and let Him know. Ask Him into your heart and He will enter in. He will walk with you and sup with you and you will never be alone. When you are afraid you can ask ‘what is this? if this isn’t from you, will you take it away?’ He will. He has so many times for me and I am no different from you. There is light in the darkness and that darkness has nothing on our Lord. God is just putting us in a place where we can only look up. I sure don’t want to be one that wanders aimlessly and complains in a desert for 40 years. I want to catch on real quick and move with the Lord onto green pastures and still waters so that He can restore my soul. This way, no matter what is going on around us, we can have His peace and feel His glory. He has already won and prepared a place for us so that we can be with Him for all eternity. God bless you all. Don’t rely on people to give you strength or faith or anything else. They only have enough oil in their lamp. (Matthew 25)
