For His Namesake – 11-1-20

Do you have family against you because of your strong faith in God in everything? They don’t tell you in words but in actions? So did Jesus. He looked up. His life is a good example to follow. He trusted His Father in EVERYTHING!

Do you have people that mock and scorn because you hear from God? It wasn’t a picnic for Jesus with the things He had to say. He looked up. We can let the Father know how we feel, and we can let Him know we trust His will.

You will never have a stronger love. I had a dream about Jesus coming down from heaven, and as soon as His eyes met mine, I woke up. We cannot comprehend a love like that. Look up.

I had a dream about Him leaving the 99 to find the 1. He healed that 1.

You have never been more loved, and by the only One that can protect you. He is our Shepherd and we shall not want. Only He can give us the green pastures and the still waters. Only He can restore our soul. He leads us in the path of righteousness ‘for His namesake’.

We are in a valley of darkness, but we are not alone. We have a rod and staff guiding us, and we need to welcome both. We need to have faith that He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. I’ve been shown an example of that. We most definitely cannot lean on our own understanding of this. We HAVE to be close to the Lord to know His ways and to have discernment of His voice so that we KNOW when to follow instructions. That table will be set in a way we had no comprehension of – and our enemies won’t even recognize it before their eyes because of how it will be done. They won’t comprehend the work of the Light. There’s an expression ‘know it when you see it’. In this case, it is so true – because the enemy sure won’t.

He will anoint your head with oil and your cup will run over. How precious is that. God could wipe out this world in a breath. He doesn’t have to put up with all this nonsense out here. He shows us things to come and sometimes He shows us things to pray about. If it is His will, our prayers will change things. He loves our communication with Him (prayer). He loves our praise and worship. He has said in the scriptures – let it be according to your faith. Matthew 9:29

Fear not. Continue to walk with the Lord. Help those He puts before you in the way He shows you. Look up and let Him know you trust Him in all things. Live a somewhat fasted life without idols. When we do that, then comes the peace and the joy. Don’t try to defend yourself, but be ready to defend the Word. I give thanks for all my brothers and sisters in Christ. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we know Who holds tomorrow.

As I was praying this morning, I said Lord I know you are with me. I opened my bible and my eyes fell on Haggai 1:13 – Then spoke Haggai the Lord’s messenger in the Lord’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the Lord.

Psalm 23 – it is a good way of life for the soul.

Isaiah 58 – good instructions.
