I was praying the other day and I heard ‘steady as she goes’.  It describes someone or something progressing in a stable manner.  This nautical phrase was originally used in reference to a ship that was sailing steadily.

It has been on my mind again this morning.  When I feel the Holy Spirit very strongly, writing will flow.  Then there is rest again.  Steady as she goes.

Don’t look to the left or to the right.  Stay the course.  Steady as she goes.  The world is in chaos but He has overcome the world.  Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4

It is good to have a peaceful place to go beside the still waters, a place to come into peace of the Lord.  A place where the light shines so brightly amongst the darkness all around.

I pray you rest in precious grace that is so freely given, and not of works lest any man should boast.  A place where you are wrapped tightly under the wing of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Steady as she goes.
