Dreams of Encouragement

Prayer Warriors Rise

IMG_0038

I’ve told this before.  There was a time not long ago that I let others upset me about telling the dreams, visions, and words from the Lord.  I sat in my prayer swing and cried for two days.  I was so hurt to think that I could hurt other people with things I had shared.  I was so grieved to be told I do more harm than good.  I kept thinking ‘God does not need wimpies, He needs warriors’.  I thought those were my thoughts.  I kept saying ‘Lord, I know you don’t need a wimpy prayer warrior and I’m trying to pull it together.’

Someone very close to me that didn’t know about this called me and said, ‘I had the strangest dream.  There was a woman going out in the night like the town crier.  She was yelling that God did not need wimpies, He needs warriors.’

Don’t ever underestimate the power of God.  Don’t ever underestimate that He can tap a thought in your head as to how He expects you to walk with Him.  He has a rod and a staff and for His good will and for your good walk with Him, He will use both as a good Shepherd does.  He will direct your path and guide you on it.  A good Shepherd will grab a sheep that’s going astray or correct by a swift tap on the side or noggin with the rod.

God is needing warriors.  He’s needing faithful prayer warriors.  Faithful in that we have no fear and we trust His plan.  We trust Him in all things.  We don’t dwell on what is going on in the world, only that God has a plan and we are in His army.  I thank Him for His protection and provision every day, and I pray that I glorify His name and Him alone.  Be encouraged.  The Shepherd does not forget His sheep.  He is our fortress.
