The morning mist reminds me of a verse in Isaiah.  God doesn’t want to hold our sins against us if we have come to Him for forgiveness.  Bask in His forgiveness and rejoice in that.

Isaiah 44:22 – NIV

I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist.  Return to me, for I have redeemed you.
