We don’t know what the day holds, but we know Who holds us. Be encouraged and draw on His strength. He definitely has an endless supply of it.
Raising grandchildren, I pray for His strength a lot. He always comes through. I tell these things to hopefully help somebody else and not to brag. I don’t have anything to brag about.
He let me know one day to stop focusing so much on what I have to get done and rest before Him. I kept having to ask for His peace because I had so much to do. Rather, I had so much I thought I had to do. I heard, ‘stop some efficiency’.
I came from the corporate world, which now seems so far away. And thankfully so. I was wrapping my day in a tighty little package and lining all my ducks in a row. I could do three things at one time and no duck strayed far from the line.
I will take my life I have now instead of any life the world has to offer. I’m very humbled and grateful for the Lord and where I am today. My prayer swing is my resting place before God and I ask for nothing more.
Psalm 46:1-3 – God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
