I woke and before my eyes opened I was seeing people sitting on a couch. They were content and I remember thinking they aren’t tired or ill or upset, but I knew they were waiting.  I heard in the spirit ‘I know they have been waiting for a very long time’.

Then I knew we need to speak life into our situation and into our prayers. Pray believing for the answer according to God’s will. Thank Him in all things and never let a negative thought take root in our head or speak negative words. The battlefield is in the mind and words are very powerful. He has a plan for our life and it is not His will that all who follow Him should suffer.

When God has us waiting, we need to rest in Him and have faith His answer will come.

My morning devotion speaks of the same thing.  God is always sending confirmations of His word.

1 John 5:14-15 – And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

Isaiah 26:3 – Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Galatians 5:22 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.

Isaiah 55:11 – So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Psalm 40:4 – Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust . . .

Romans 8:28-29 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.  For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
