I had posted on my private fb page that I had been told to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling. I believe, from the feedback I got, that some people believe this means choose whom you will believe in. I deliberated over how to give the understanding of this scripture when I woke around 2:30am on 6-19-19 with this understanding, so I got up and wrote it down. It was like some people call a download.
When Paul said work out your own salvation he was talking to those that already believed in Christ. He was talking about their walk with Christ. Philippians 2
The Bible tells us not to condemn our brother because they don’t have a conviction that we do. Romans 14:13-23
We need to remove the beam from our eye before we tell them to remove the splinter from theirs. Matthew 7:5
When I had originally asked the Lord a question and was given that answer (work out your own salvation with fear and trembling), I wasn’t asking Him should I believe in Him, and I wasn’t asking about if I would go to heaven. I was talking about something in my daily walk with Christ as to whether I should do something or not. He knows I use my free will to walk by His word. That’s how I work out my walk with Christ.
God bless!
