Ties that bind – 6-3-19

When ‘ties that bind’ came to mind, I was talking to a person that was going through some great difficulties in life.  There wasn’t a couple days after that I saw another person going through great difficulties.  She said she wanted deliverance.  I wasn’t the main person she was speaking to so I didn’t do too much.  The phrase ‘ties that bind’ came to me again.  I held this person that was so broken and told her a little about the story of the three that refused to bow down to what they knew was wrong and went on into the fire.  The only thing burned in that fire were ‘ties that bind’.  The three had been bound before going into the fire.  There were four in the fire.  I love the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel.  It comes to me often these days.

The same day I spoke to this young lady, I ran into a gentleman that had been living in the woods.  His wife left him and he lost his job.  A local minister bought him lunch and agreed to give him a job at his small company.  I helped also in a small way and prayed with him.

I realized during the time I was hearing ‘John was on Patmos’ and “The Ties that Bind’ – the ministry I’ve come to know is changing.  Dreams and visions have stopped, or are few and far between.  Warnings have gone out for 3-1/2 years.  Now it seems to be time to work with people one-on-one. (I had made a mistake earlier and wrote Paul.  I have to keep a clear head not to confuse the two names when I’m typing.)

This applies to all of us as we are mindful of the needs around us and our spiritual eyes are open to what the Holy Spirit leads us to – or leads to us.  Let your light shine in this dark time and be a blessing.  To be a blessing is to receive a blessing.  I’m not speaking of material things.  Those things are being shaken.  The only thing not shaken will be our faith in Jesus and the blessings we are able to give in His Name and by His Hand.

I pray that we can all work with His hands, speak with His mouth, walk with His feet, see with His eyes, and love with His Heart.

May you be richly blessed as you cling to what we know is true – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Amen ~
