I had a dream December 24, 2018, where I saw a person (Sam) and three beautiful colors of light were going down from above toward him. I knew these were blessings. Then I saw Sam get on the phone. I don’t know what he said but those blessings stopped. They didn’t go any further.
I thought ‘can we block our own blessings’? So I went to the Word.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
That’s pretty powerful. The Word created an entire universe.
1 Peter 3:10 For, whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.
Ephesians 4:29 tells us to talk what is helpful for building others up according to their needs.
Proverbs 15:4 The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.
Proverbs 26:20 tells us that without wood a fire goes out and without a gossip a quarrel dies down.
Please put a guard over our mouths Lord and keep watch over the door of our lips. Psalm 141:3
And help us to be content. Keep us in the secret place in these times of trouble. The place that is a real place, under your wing of protection where there is no fear. Psalm 91
