Distractions – June 2, 2018

IMG_1378

I had been saying I wanted less technology and more silence.  After that my jaws wouldn’t stop flapping and I was rarely off a device of some kind.  I decided to just go to the swing and sit.  I didn’t take any devotion material with me so when I finished I looked up one on my phone and came to Hannah Brencher.  I don’t know anything about her other than the devotion that popped up that morning that I needed.  She wrote, ‘when I turn from distractions, God shows me moments He handcrafted for me’.

Psalm 32:8 NIV – I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

And she was right.
