When God is Silent

IMG_3256 (1)In times God is more silent, I look back on notes.  I love reliving all things I’ve seen and heard, especially those that are personal.  After all, that is what it is all about, our personal relationship with our savior.

One night in December of 2015, I had been praying and it felt Jesus had just stepped in front of me.  I was telling myself not to be afraid when I opened my eyes and saw Him standing there.  I slowly opened my eyes and I couldn’t see Him, but I could still feel Him.  I asked Him for a verse to let me know He was there with me in the wee hours when it’s still dark out and the only sound is prayer, heartfelt prayer – conversation with the Lord.  I opened my bible and my eyes fell to Haggai 1:13.

Then spake Haggai the Lord’s messenger in the Lord’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the Lord.

In looking back at this, I read the two chapters of this book.  It is very powerful for God’s people.  God bless.  He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Picture from my office wall that my husband purchased.  Calming to look at.
