This isn’t a dream I had, but someone very close to me had that I was in. I have permission to tell the dream but not the recipient’s name. To make it clear to begin with, I just represented Christians on this earth.
On August 20th I wrote:
As the world gets darker, there is still light in those where Jesus shines. Even in the darkest hour, there will be His light shining in His people. Most don’t realize how bright His light shines through them, but it’s time to be aware. Then the person very close to me had this dream shortly after. She called and said that she had a dream she didn’t understand at all but that I was in it. She dreamed she and others were stumbling around in the darkness and it was very scary. People were holding on trying not to fall. She didn’t understand why it was so important they all find light, but they were very scared. Finding light was more important than anything else at all. She looked up ahead and saw a light. She screamed to everybody that there is a light ahead, run to it! As she got closer she could see that it was me holding the light. She didn’t see my face, just the light, but knew it was me. (That is because we have no light but through Jesus Christ in us as we follow Him.) She said that as we all began to walk together, we saw a person ahead of us that was in chains. The chains were embedded so deeply they were into the skin. The person tried a couple times to get to us but the chains would pull them back. When the person finally turned to look at us, it was more than one face. The faces were people in chains, in bondage. Please pray the people in bondage, such as in addictions, will be set free.
Matthew 5:14-16 – You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
It is all about glorifying the Father. No, our works don’t get us to heaven, but our works are evidence of our faith. God bless.
II Samuel 22:29 – kjv – For thou art my lamp, O Lord; and the Lord will lighten my darkness.
