I question things I do and see.  I try to honor God in everything, much more so since September 2015.  I asked God about some things I wanted to listen to on you tube regarding prophecy.  I felt uncertain so I thought He would tell me yay or nay.  It was the same with some tv shows and games on these nooks and kindle fires.  There are hidden harmful things.  We have to be careful.  On March 19, 2017, I was talking to the Lord about it when I was drifting off the sleep.  A thought crossed my mind ‘if you’re unsure about it just don’t do it’.  I groggily asked, “was that you Lord?”

I went off the sleep and as I was waking the next morning I heard very clearly, “Why would you stick a quarter in your mouth, swallow it, and start yelling ‘I’m choking’?”

I think my answer was I have free will and if I want to honor God in all that I do then just don’t do it if I’m uncertain of it.  Just don’t do it.  When the Holy Spirit dwells in us we will have a check in our spirit if it can be harmful.  We can either follow that or not.

Lord, I pray you bless each of us with the ability to hear Your voice and feel Your spirit as we journey throughout the day and rest in the night.  Help us to walk in the path You have for us so that it is Your light that we see and Your voice and instruction that we hear.  Amen
